Tailored Excavation:
12 inches of the existing road surface were excavated. The good news? The solid sub-base allowed us to skip the geosynthetic fabric, which saved time and money.
Innovative Foundation:
We replaced the traditional road base with 2600 tire-derived cylinders, each filled with local aggregate. This created a strong, interlocking foundation that could easily handle the weight of heavy trucks.
A Solid Finish:
To top it off, we added additional aggregate, providing a wear surface that’s both tough and resilient.
The Results:

The transformation was immediate and impressive. Since installing the Mechanical Concrete® foundation, the company hasn’t needed a single repair on the treated sections of their road. Meanwhile, other areas that didn’t get the same treatment have continued to need regular fixes.
